The Feature Magazine is open to submissions from photographers, artists, designers, makeup artists, musicians, writes and creative entrepreneurs.
We accept Fashion, Beauty, Conceptual, Art, Drawings and Written Submissions.
It is free to submit to us, except for advertorial photo sets and advertorial/promo articles.
When choosing the type of content to send to us please have in mind we are an International magazine published in English.

Before submitting to us please read carefully ALL the guidelines below to make sure that all our requirements are met.
By submitting you are agree to all our submission requirements, guidelines, rules and terms and confirming that you have read and understand them. If you are not agree with all or some of our requirements, guidelines, rules, terms, please do not submit to us.
We are small and busy team, therefore we reserve the right to ignore your submission if you ignore The Feature Magazine submission requirements!
Each submission will be reviewed based on its relevance, quality, availability of the space in the issue and our aesthetic vision (welcome to join us on Pinterest for inspiration and reference).
The Feature Magazine reserves the rights to accept or deny any submission we receive.

What we expect?
Currently we are accepting open themed and themed submissions.
We encourage you to submit all shapes, genders, races and ethnicities. We aim to promote diversity in a high quality and tasteful manner (welcome to join us on our Pinterest to see what type of work has more chances to appear on our pages and our website)
We are open to all age groups except we don't publish kids and our publication is not suitable for kids.
We won’t publish nudity for the sake of publishing nudity. If, however your story has a meaning, aligns with our aesthetic, is done tastefully and includes some nudity you can submit it for consideration. Models MUST be 18 or older! Strictly no pornography!
Copyright.
Photographs and Drawings must be the submitter’s own work. The submitter remains the rights holder. It is therefore the submitter’s responsibility, if necessary, to be in possession of a release form. Model Release Form DOES NOT need to be sent to us.
By submitting to us you guarantee and represent that you are the sole and exclusive legal owner of all rights, title, & interest in all the works you submitted, including all related intellectual property interests (such as trademarks and copyrights).
By submitting your work to The Feature Magazine for publishing, you grant us a non-exclusive permission to use your work in any of our publications, websites, videos, marketing pieces, advertisements, and any other mediums or formats used in the creation, dissemination, monetization and promotion of The Feature Magazine.
You consent to indemnify The Feature Magazine against any claim, demand, action, suit, or other proceedings against The Feature Magazine arising out of the use of the photographs and related to any false or inaccurate statement.
If you are not the photographer/copyright holder, by submitting to The Feature Magazine an editorial, you confirm and guarantee that you have a written and signed permission/release from the photographer/copyright holder. It doesn't need to be sent to us. You accept full responsibility for your actions.
Credits.
Team credits are MUST for all submissions.
We accept credits in English only. If you are other language speaker please add English spelling of your team members names listed in copy-pasble format. Otherwise names will be automatically translated.
Make sure the list of credits is double checked: all the team members involved in creating the editorial are listed and their names are spelt correctly, including an agency name next to the model’s name (if applicable).
Credit list MUST be in editable (copy/pastable) file format so we can transfer them to the page exactly as they were sent to us. If for any reason the work is published and some credit is missing, the person submitted to us will be held responsible for any missing or misspelled credits. The Feature Magazine only copy/pastes what we’ve got from the submitter so we cannot and would not be held accountable for any missing or misspelled credit.
PLEASE NOTE. All the credit corrections must be made BEFORE THE DEADLINE.
For corrections, made or requested to be made, after the deadline the fee of $35 USD applies for print and digital editions.
For corrections, made or requested to be made, after your photographs been published on our website the fee of $15 USD applies.
If you need a correction you can order the service by emailing us.
Important! Please have in mind, the print orders made before the correction cannot be updated.
Wardrobe.
For Fashion, Art Fashion, Conceptual submissions we encourage you to submit talent over big name. We are open to emerging designers, stylists, gifted costume creators, independent artists as well as tastefully styled old or no name pieces. Let’s bring good taste and style back to fashion!
Hair and Makeup Beauty Editorials.
Hair and makeup should look professionally done and professionally photographed. High quality photo retouching is expected for Hair, Beauty and Closeups.
Fashion, Beauty, Conceptual, Art Editorials Photo Requirements.
Editorials should be anywhere in between 2-15 images (for print) 3-9 (for web).
We expect to see at least 2-4 looks for Fashion, 2-3 looks for Beauty Editorials. For Conceptual and Art one look can be accepted but only if the story is told exceptionally well.
Please note, all the photographs might not be published. We reserve the right to choose what suits the best to the issue.
All Photographs must be professionally retouched final images.
Please make sure the photographs DO NOT have any graphic, texts, a logo, or watermark on them.
Editorial featuring only one designer/brand is considered an advertorial and cannot be accepted as a free editorial submission. Please see here the available options if you’d like to advertise with us.
Format of the Photographs: JPG
Color Profile: sRGB
Preferred sizes are:
Portrait: 8.5 × 11 in, 300 dpi (2550 × 3300 px)
Landscape: 17 × 11 in, 300 dpi (5100 × 3300 px)
We might also consider other sizes if your work suits perfectly to the edition, but have in mind, your photographs might be cropped for better presentation.
Photographs can be in color or black and white.
Studio and on Location shots are welcome.
One photographer can submit no more than 3 editorials to one edition though we cannot guaranty that all of them will be accepted and published.
Editorial doesn’t have be exclusive however the exclusive materials will be prioritized.
We will consider single image submission but it must be a work of an exceptional quality.
Please use the hashtag #thefeaturemag and tag @the_feture_mag when sharing your work published with The Feature Magazine.
Written Submissions
We are accepting written submissions from guest writers for both our print magazine and the website.
If you are interested in submitting to us, send us your submission at thefeature.artmag@gmail.com
Please add the “Writer Submission” as a subject of your email and include links to your work, blog, portfolio, social media etc.
Rejection.
We would love to answer everyone, but it is not always possible.
Once your submission has been accepted you will receive the acceptance email.
If 14 days have passed since you submitted to us and you haven’t heard back from us, please take it as rejection. It could be due to any of the reasons stated below.
Please do not send us multiple emails with the same thing.
If your work was rejected (whether with or without contacting you back), please see some of the most common reasons of why it could be:

The overall quality of the work is not high enough;

Low quality skin retouching blurred face, overuse of FS or use of automated software;

Poorly styled / Mismatched outfits;
-
Wardrobe is too repeatable throughout the editorial;

Poses / Expressions are repeated throughout the editorial;
-
Images have graphic, logos, watermarks on them;
-
There are no enough images to create a story;
-
There is a little or no space left for the placement;
-
The style/aesthetic is either unsuitable or does not fit to The Feature Magazine.
May it not stop you however from submitting your new work to us in the future.
Disclaimer
You agree to indemnify us and hold us harmless from any liability, damages, and fees whatsoever, arising from our use of the material you submitted and you accept full responsibility for your actions (e.g. If you submit content without the consent of the any of your team member who is involved in the creation of editorial or of the persons appearing in the content).
We will not be held accountable for any breach of privacy or violation of any rights of publicity/likeness, and any possible breach of any possible right, due to the publication of material you have submitted to The Feature Magazine.
We do not remove sets once they have been published. If you submit content to us, you accept full responsibility for any claims or liability, damages, and fees, associated with the publication. If you submit images without the model’s consent, and the model demands it be removed and threatens us with legal action, you are solely responsible for any liability, fees and/or damages model may claim. The same applies if you submit content the copyright of which does not belong to you and we are threatened with action by the owner.
Therefore, we advise you to make certain that you have obtained consent for publication in The Feature Magazine and that all the credits are correct.

Step 1.
Please use "Photography Submission" or "Drawing Submission" or “Written Submission” as a subject of your email,
it will help us massively to keep everything in order and proceed all the submissions much quicker.
Step 2.
Tell us few words about yourself and about your submission if you wish.
Add a Title of your Editorial and a double checked Full Credit List to the body of the email.
If you'd like to be tagged on our social media and our website,
please add yours and your team members' tags next to the names.
Step 3.
Add a Link to your Dropbox or WeTransfer folder (where the photographs are)
to the body of the email.
Please DO NOT SEND your photographs as an attachment! Such emails will be deleted immediately!
Step 4.
If you are sending to us 2 or 3 editorials,
include all the information and all the links into one single email.
Make sure it is clear what is what and everything is named properly.
Whether you are sending one or more editorials to us
we would be grateful to find your photographs named as YourName_EditorialTitle01, YourName_EditorialTitle02, YourName_EditorialTitle03...
Step 5.
Check if everything is correct, included and all your links work.
